I’m a proud Pacific Islander, shaped by the strength and warmth of my Tongan family home.
My passion for wine began during my 12 year professional rugby career in France, where post match dinners often ended with great bottles and even better company.
That spark led me to study in both Champagne and Burgundy, where I completed my Masters of Science in Wine Business at the Burgundy School of Business.
During that time, I had the chance to taste from barrels in some of Europe’s most iconic caves and cellars, an experience that deepened my respect for the craft and culture of wine.
Now back home in New Zealand, I’ve connected with friends in wine and I’m excited to share this journey though hosting experiences that are warm, down to earth, and easy to enjoy - no wine jargon, just real conversations over great wine.
For me, it’s simple: wine is made to be enjoyed, not overthought. Whether you’re just getting into wine or you’ve been sipping for years, you’ll be right at home.
